چکیده
In this study, HDPE-based flat-pressed WPCs were reinforced with glass fibre and carbon woven fabrics, which could be used where high strength stiffness are required. The effect of reinforcement on some physical, mechanical, thermal properties fire performance was investigated. According to the results, increase in fabric density resulted holding much water microvoids fabric, increased absorption up 32.96%. Reinforcement also hardness. general, continuous filaments significantly mechanical properties. improvement exceeded over 400% for tensile compared unreinforced control samples, while increases 129% 115% flexural MOE, respectively. interlocking matrix fabrics is an important factor that affects load transfer. strong interaction between wood-polymer wood-polymer-woven observed from SEM investigation. stability composites improved, possibly due homogeneous distribution heat within fibres. Glass fibres presumably acted as a buffer against increasing heat, onset temperature. Moreover, according LOI test, need oxygen 24.72 26.01 wood flour reinforcement.

Image Characterization of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Composites
A new methodology to detect fibres orientation in composite materials, using image processing tools is introduced. Several examples with manufacturing defects are studied using RIMAPS technique and the Variogram method. The characterization is made from digitized images of the samples. Combined use of RIMAPS and Variogram analyses identified the orientation of fibres and determined the values o...

This research is concerned with the mechanical and physical properties of hemp fibre reinforced concrete (HFRC). An experimental program was developed based on the statistical method of fractional factors design. The variables for the experimental study were: 1) mixing method; 2) fibre content by weight; 3) aggregate size; and 4) fibre length. Their effects on the compressive and flexural perfo...
متن کاملMechanical and Impact Properties of Untreated Jute Fabric Reinforced Polyester Laminates Compared with Different E- Glass Fibre Reinforced Laminates
In recent years, the improvement of properties of natural fibre reinforced laminates over the pure polymeric matrix has been thoroughly investigated with the aim of providing a possible replacement of E-glass fibre reinforced composites for some large-volume applications. In the present study, the properties of a jute/polyester laminate are compared with those yielded by two E-glass fibre woven...
